Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m a visual artist and portrait painter who specializes in acrylic painting. My work focuses on themes of faith and identity, often expressed through portraiture and text. I’m particularly drawn to bold colors and shapes. I see my art as a way for me to express my faith and new learnings as I am going through life. I also see it as a way to preserve memories and to appreciate our human uniqueness especially through portraiture

I would say my mother inspires me. Her drive and work ethic is something I really admire and strive to be emulate.

My creative superpower is simplifying complex ideas (like some of the scriptures i take inspiration from) and turning them into compelling visuals. I’m able to distill it into something people can immediately connect with

Having my work exhibited at Ashesi’s Center for African Popular Culture
