A lot of people inspire me, both within and outside the film industry. There are so many incredible creatives; filmmakers, artists, writers, musicians, and visionaries whose work pushes creative boundaries, challenges perspectives, and makes a lasting impact. Among them, Rachel Morrison and Kuukua Eshun stand out. Rachel Morrison’s cinematography and storytelling push creative boundaries, and her ability to craft striking visuals motivates me to refine my own work. Kuukua Eshun’s unique storytelling and cultural depth inspire me to embrace authenticity and bring meaningful narratives to life.

As a child, I wanted to be a journalist, a news reporter or writer because I loved storytelling and uncovering important stories. But I’ve always been very imaginative, and over time, I realized I didn’t just want to report stories; I wanted to create and bring my own visions to life. That passion led me to filmmaking, where I can craft compelling narratives through visuals and emotion. I wouldn’t trade what I’m doing now because filmmaking allows me to tell stories in a way that truly resonates with me.
