Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a creative at heart. Since I was a little girl I enjoyed drawing, painting and decorating. Now with a career in Graphic design, I get to live through my childhood passions every day. I love to spend time with my kids, read, and be in nature. I find so much inspiration in nature and my daily life. I also love thunderstorms… they fill me up with so much energy.
Not a person but a thing – Nature. I find so much inspiration in colours and textures found in plants and animals. I am particularly drawn to birds and botanical elements.
Colour! I used to be terrified of creating bold and vibrant designs, but now I could never go back! Pairing colours to create a distinct brand identity is what I love the most!
No one particular project, rather waking up each day and realizing I get to create beauty in this world. That’s always a win… making the world a better place!
I believe the creative industry starts in school… and I would love it if teachers taught art as more than just painting and drawing, rather all the additional careers like graphic design, animation, interior design. There is so much talent in children, sometimes they just haven’t been given the right opportunities.
